PHOTOS: Scott Paul Mayers mug shots

ALVIN, TX -- Scott Paul Mayers was arrested following a Thursday night police chase in Alvin that ended with a head-on collision with a police patrol car. The officer in that police car was airlifted to a hospital, but his injuries weren't serious.

Meanwhile, Eyewitness News learned that Mayers has a checkered past. His criminal history includes possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance, criminal mischief, assault, terroristic threat, theft, harboring a runaway child and burglary.
