HFD Chief Terry Garrison to take job in Arizona

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- HFD Chief Terry Garrison is expected to resign, Eyewitness News has learned.

Garrison, who has been chief since September of 2010, is expected to take a new job in Arizona.

This is the second time Garrison has announced he's leaving the Houston Fire Department. Back in 2013, he said he was resigning, but changed his mind days after making the announcement.

Garrison began his firefighting career in 1977 with the Phoenix Fire Department
