Man allegedly drops drugs as deputies book him into jail

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- A man was arrested April 25 for an alleged drug possession.

A deputy observed a vehicle drive into a ditch, make unsafe lane changes and change lanes without signaling. Upon making contact with the male driver, the deputy observed the driver to be nervous. The male driver gave consent for a vehicle search.

The deputy allegedly found a container with pills and heroin. The man was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail on two counts of possession of controlled substance.

Upon arriving at the jail, the man was allegedly observed on camera dropping a small bag with amphetamines, and an additional possession charge was added.
