Record-setting former MLB pitcher reported missing
Roric Harrison was last seen Wednesday in the Texas Medical Center wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man reported missing from Houston was located Thursday, after an alert security guard saw his report on ABC13.

Roric Harrison had been last seen Wednesday in the Texas Medical Center in the 6400 block of Main Street.

The 74-year-old man suffers from Alzheimer's, and was located sometime on Thursday, according to his partner.

Harrison apparently walked from the Texas Medical Center to NRG Stadium and encountered a security guard, who gave him a ride home, his partner said.

Harrison couldn't get back into his house and eventually fell asleep while waiting in a back alley. The security guard alerted authorities when a report about Harrison aired on ABC13 to tell them where Harrison was last seen.

Harrison's partner found him in the backyard after the security guard's call.

Harrison was a major league pitcher who was signed by the Houston Astros in 1965, but was traded and went on to play for other clubs, including the Baltimore Orioles and the Atlanta Braves.

Harrison may be best known for being the last pitcher in MLB history to hit a homerun before the American League introduced the designated hitter.
