Man struck by METRO light rail train dies

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man has died after he was struck by a METRORail train.

Police say the accident happened overnight at Main Street at McGowen.

The man is said to have stepped onto the track of that METRORail train when he was hit. He died at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
