Woman choked unconscious, robbed at METRO rail stop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators are searching for two suspects who attacked a woman waiting for the METRO rail early Thursday morning and robbed her.

According to METRO, the woman was waiting around 1:30am on the Fulton North Central METRORail platform. A man approached her and began choking her. Then a woman came up and snatched the victim's belongings.

Officials say the victim blacked out during the assault. The suspects got away.

A good Samaritan spotted the victim and called authorities.
