Man on the run after escaping courtroom before arrest in Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities in Harris County have found a man who had escaped from the courtroom after a judge ordered him into custody.

Terry Dewayne Rodgers, 38, was facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance and appeared in the downtown criminal courtroom Monday morning when he allegedly took off before officers could take him into custody.

He has since been caught and is now in custody.
