Man charged after possibly breaking deputy's hand in Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A male suspect is in custody after fighting a Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputy on Sunday, officials said.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with a possible broken hand.

Deputies were responding to a family disturbance call in the 13200 block of Champions Centre. When they arrived, the suspect started to fight a deputy.

The suspect was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
