Man attempts to steal car while woman pumps gas

ALLEN PARK, Michigan (KTRK) -- Dramatic new video shows a woman being carjacked in the middle of a crowded gas station, in broad daylight, while pumping gas.

Surveillance video shows the man walk right up and get into the car and drive off.

The woman dives into the passenger side door to try to stop him.

A fuel truck driver saw what happened and jumped in to help.

He was able to get the suspect out of the car and the two scuffled for a minute.

The attempted carjacker was able to run away.

The woman was not hurt.

No arrests have been made.
