Man, 73, shot during home invasion near Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, TX (KTRK) -- A 73-year-old man is recovering after being shot in a home invasion near Magnolia.

Investigators in Montgomery County say three men on Wednesday night broke into the victim's house on Spur 149 then shot him in the leg.

Deputies didn't say what, if anything, was taken from the home. The man walked to a next-door neighbor's house for help.

The victim is now at a hospital, expected to be OK.
