HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two high school students are in custody, accused of shooting one llama and beheading another.[br /][br /]Harris County Pct. 1 Constable Alan Rosen says the two juveniles were arrested on Thursday. They're charged with one count each of animal cruelty, a felony, and two counts each of misdemeanor criminal mischief.[br /][Ads /][br /]"Just when you think you've heard it all, along comes a bizarre case that makes you wonder what goes through people's minds, especially young people," said Rosen.[br /][br /]According to Rosen, it happened on March 6 when the two juveniles -- students at Tomball High School -- went onto the property of Figment Ranch on March 6. The llama that was shot survived.[br /][br /]The case went cold for two months, but Rosen says the two teens confessed. At this point, there is no motive.[br /][br /]The llamas that were attacked are show-quality, which can sell for around $20,000 apiece.][br /][br /]We're following this story today on Eyewitness News.
