Controversial I-45 project clears major hurdle
The controversial I-45 project has just cleared a major hurdle. But not everyone is happy as the project is expected to displace families. ABC13's Brhe Berry explains.

LA MARQUE, Texas (KTRK) -- A water main break in La Marque is prompting low water pressure for residents in the area.

According to an update issued by the city of La Marque Wednesday night, TxDOT contractors working on the I-45 expansion project broke a water main at FM 2004.

Crews with La Marque Public Works are assessing the damage and anticipate the repair may take a few hours.

If you live in La Marque and notice low water pressure during regular business hours, the city asks you to report it to La Marque Public Works at 409-938-9280.

For after-hours utility emergencies, report to La Marque Police Department Dispatch at 409-938-9269.
