Klein ISD will open new school in 2017

Klein Independent School District is one of the fastest growing school districts and will soon have a new high school to accommodate the growth.

Construction for the campus began in January 2015 and is currently on schedule. The school will open in August 2017 and is located at 10201 Spring Cypress Road. An official name for the school is being considered by the board of trustees and will be announced in the fall of this year.

Robert Robertson, assistant superintendent, explained how the plans for building the new school were implemented due to the increasing student enrollment at Klein Oak and Klein High School.
