MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- The Texas Central Railway high-speed rail project is getting a mixed bag of reactions with two pending requests at a federal board.

TCR - the private company attempting to construct a high-speed rail between Houston and Dallas - asked the Surface Transportation Board for construction authority and consideration to set the condemnation land values.

The proposed alignment route options shows the path of the project going through Dallas, Ellis, Navarro, Freestone, Limestone, Leon, Madison, Grimes, Waller and Harris counties.
