KATY, TX (KTRK) -- A Katy ISD student says she was nearly abducted Monday morning, and now the school district as well as authorities are warning everyone to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.

The attempted kidnapping happened around 6:50am at a bus stop off Hollyoak Drive and Chicory, according to the Houston Police Department.

The girl says a suspicious man grabbed her upper arm and said, "Come with me or I will hurt you." He then allegedly drove her around the Enclave Apartments for an hour and then parked for another hour. He asked her personal questions including her name, age and address.

The victim says she refused to answer questions and when he looked away, she kicked him in the face, jumped out of the car and ran to safety.

The suspect is described as bald, black male between the age of 45 and 50 with a mustache and goatee. He drove a white, older model Honda (2000-2001).

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department.
