Hero down: Katy ISD police K-9 dies after years of service with department

KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- A retired K-9 from the Katy ISD Police Department died Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

"Retired K-9 Marcel passed away this morning, our condolences go out to his handler/partner former Katy ISD Police Department Sergeant Justin Moyer," Katy ISD police said in a Facebook post.
