Jury duty in Harris Co. cancelled because of Harvey
Flooding at the courthouse has caused the cancellation of jury duty in Harris County.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you have jury duty over the next two weeks, you're getting a pass because of Harvey.

Harris County officials said any person who was summoned by the district clerk or sheriff's office between now and September 22 does not need to appear or reschedule.

District Attorney Kim Ogg's office told Eyewitness News after the basement of the courthouse flooded downtown, it may take up to eight months to reopen.
