HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The headline was great for internet clicks, until everybody realized that no -- JJ Watt did not declare that he was retiring early from the NFL.
All Watt said Tuesday is that he won't hang around just to play in the NFL. He'll play as long as he can perform like one of the best players in the game.
Watt has long told us that he's just now entering his prime and he can't wait to see where training and effort will take him next. At 27 years old, the 5-year veteran has plenty of great years left.
