HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- In this season of giving, Houston Texans star Jadeveon Clowney quickly turned trash into a blessing for others.

Earlier this week, Jacksonville Jaguars fans sent trash cans to NRG Stadium after Clowney called Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles "trash."

When the trash cans arrived, Clowney decided to turn trash into treasure. He filled the trash cans with toys to donate to women and children in need.

"Thank you Jaguars fans for sending trash cans to NRG!" Clowney tweeted. "It inspired me to fill them and an entire truck with toys to turn a negative situation into a blessing for some deserving women and children."

Clowney donated the toys to women and children at the Mission of Yahweh.
