HPD: 1 person shot at gas station during apparent robbery in south Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating a shooting at the Exxon gas station on the city's south side.

According to police, officers were called to the scene in the 9400 block of Cullen Boulevard around 8:36 p.m. for an apparent robbery.

When officers arrived to the gas station, they found one person shot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

The suspect is still on the loose, police said.
