HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Clouds will increase overnight as our next cold front approaches. That'll give us another cool day on Friday.
This front could bring in some very isolated rain south of I-10 but chances are slim. Rain should be out by sunrise and clouds will also move out by the late morning hours.
Do I have to worry about freezing weather with this front?
It'll be cool on Friday but the freezing temps will hold off until Saturday morning. Temps will barely make it to 32 degrees in the Houston area. Temps will fall into the upper 20s to the northeast around Lake Livingston.
How's my weekend looking?
You can expect chilly mornings in the 30s and afternoon temps in the 50s. There'll be plenty of sunshine and no rain to deal with.
Is next week looking wet?
Yes. Two strong disturbances will move through and give us rain. The wettest day will be Monday. We've raised that rain chance to 80%. Late Wednesday afternoon and night will also be wet. There could be some strong storms along with the rain.
