HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dale Rudick, director of The City of Houston Public Works and Engineering Department, says the line repair is complete and that no one is without water.

The massive repair project consisted of a pipe being worked on that is 8 feet in diameter after it sprang a leak.

The University of Houston recently had issues with discolored water and while this repair may not be linked to that, the university did tell students that they could see a return of discolored water during this fix.

The water is safe to drink, but some could notice the pressure has fallen.
