Those who came together were seen outside of the Houston Police Department with signs and could be heard chanting the names of a few victims who were killed within the last year by law enforcement.

"We need to let them know that, not only are we watching, but we are doing," said Rhonda Smith with the Houston United Front Against Fascism. "We are demanding that it stop."

The most recent death of Daunte Wright was a focal point of the protest and has caused much larger demonstrations from state-to-state.
