Friend finds woman's body inside Houston high-rise

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found inside a Houston high-rise apartment.

A friend discovered the victim inside her third-floor apartment on Bellaire Boulevard near Fondren Road.

Officers say the exact cause of the woman's death is unknown, but that she had severe cuts to her body.

The friend who found her is not a suspect, police say.
