Two injured in southeast Houston apartment fire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people were hurt after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

It happened around 10:18pm last night at apartment complex in the 400 block of Hitcheson.

One victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for burns. A second victim was treated for smoke injuries on scene.

HFD got the fire under control by 10:46pm. Arson investigators are now working to determine what started the fire.
