HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Power and water remains scarce throughout Puerto Rico, after Hurricane Maria killed at least 16 people in the US territory.
Shipments of gasoline and donations continue to pour in, but with a lack of telecommunication getting these items to those who need it most remains a challenge.
A Houston doctor and native Puerto Rican Dr. Rocio Harbison is helping the relief effort. Harbison has been collecting food and water for those affected. She's also been sending medication that's desperately needed by doctors there.
