HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- No one was injured after authorities say a driver smashed into an apartment building in southeast Houston.

The crash happened Monday evening in the 7900 block of Morley Street near Glencrest - just north of Hobby Airport, according to authorities.

Investigators said it appears the driver lost control and smashed the dark-colored sedan into a ground-floor unit.

The building was damaged in the crash and authorities are still investigating and assessing the damage.
