HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- No one was injured after authorities say a driver smashed into an apartment building in southeast Houston.
The crash happened Monday evening in the 7900 block of Morley Street near Glencrest - just north of Hobby Airport, according to authorities.
Investigators said it appears the driver lost control and smashed the dark-colored sedan into a ground-floor unit.
There were people inside the apartment at the time of the crash, but they were uninjured. Families were also sleeping in other apartment units at the complex.
The building was damaged in the crash and authorities are still investigating and assessing the damage.
