Suspected drug dealer killed in NE Houston shooting
A man is sought by police after they say he fatally shot a man he was buying marijuana from in northeast Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man has died after police say he was fatally shot by a man who came to his apartment to buy marijuana.

Police say the shooting happened just after 2am at an apartment on Homestead Road at Tidwell Road in northeast Houston.

Investigators say a man entered the apartment to buy marijuana when he pulled a gun and threatened to kill the victim, plus his girlfriend and baby who were inside the apartment.

Police say the two men began to struggle. The gun went off killing the suspected drug dealer.

The victim's girlfriend was able to give police a good description on the suspect.

He is described as a black male in his mid-20s with shoulder-length dreadlocks.
