VIDEO: 'Star Wars' strikes Los Angeles landmarks
In a galaxy not so far away, the Imperial Army declares war... on Los Angeles?

LOS ANGELES, CA -- In a galaxy not so far away, the Imperial Army declares war... on Los Angeles?

That's the world visual artist Kaipo Jones has created in his latest internet sensation, "Star Wars: Invasion Los Angeles."

The two-minute video features a galactic battle that could be straight out of a "Star Wars" film.

Starfighters, Walkers and even a Jedi appear in front of prominent landmarks, including Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles International Airport and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

"Shooting this particular video brought me to certain places that I haven't been to here in L.A.," Jones said in a behind-the-scenes video.

Jones creates videos on his YouTube channel as a hobby, and each one takes about two to three months to complete.

And if watching your childhood dreams come to life isn't enough, Jones has also hidden 25 mostly Disney-related Easter eggs in the video. From Iron Man to Frozen, it's a scavenger hunt for the ages.
