HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Plans for high speed rail between Houston and Dallas are rolling right along.

The Federal Railroad Administration has identified the so-called 'Utility Corridor' as the best bet for the rail line.

The private company building the rail says this pathway will give them better access to electricity.

Even though a corridor has been selected, the exact route still has to be determined. The feds tell us nothing is 100 percent.

The routes and the corridor could still change, depending on what kind of impact it might have on the environment.
