Prescription drugs pilfered from 2 HEB pharmacies
Investigators are working to see if there are any connections between two recent HEB pharmacy robberies.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators in Houston and Montgomery County are working to determine if there are any connections between two recent HEB pharmacy robberies.

In the early morning hours of Aug. 2, two men broke into the HEB pharmacy at 9828 Blackhawk and filled a white bucket with prescription medications. A suspect threatened an employee in the pharmacy with a gun before the two suspects fled the scene in a white Dodge sedan.

Then on Oct. 4, employees watched via surveillance camera as three men broke into the HEB pharmacy at 3540 Rayford Rd. in Spring just after 2:30 a.m. Those suspects filled a plastic bin with medications before fleeing in a silver sedan.

In both instances, it's not clear exactly what medications the suspects were able to steal, but investigators do recognize the similarities between the two cases.

Anybody with information about either crime is asked to contact authorities.
