US breast cancer death rate dropped 42%

There's hope in the fight against breast cancer.

New data from the World Health Organization finds in 39 of the 47 countries they studied, breast cancer death rates have dropped drastically in the past three decades.

In the US alone, death rates have dropped by 42%.

Researchers say the decline is a result of widespread mammogram screenings and improvements in medicine.
