How to find the perfect sports bra
How to find the perfect sports bra

The majority of women wear the wrong size bra, and doing so can make us look bigger, droopier, and even frumpier. Worse than that, without the right support, women often endure neck and back pain. There's so much emphasis on getting fitted for the proper cup and band size for an everyday bra, but what about a sports bra?

Most sports bras don't give the support necessary for pounding the pavement. A study from the University of Portsmouth shows that breasts can bounce as much as eight inches in each direction while jogging. That impact can break down breast tissue and cause breasts to sag more.

So follow some of these steps to finding the perfect sports bra. If you're smaller-chested, a compression-style sports bra works.

A more recommended style, however, especially for larger-chested women, is a bra with cups built in.

Also, thicker straps and racerbacks provide more support for our girls.

Finally, pullover bras may be your go-to, but the spandex often stretches. For a stronger hold, go for a sports bra with a clasp - this is a busty breast must!
