HCSO deputy possibly exposed to powerful synthetic drug, Fentanyl

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A deputy with the Harris County Sheriff's Office was possibly exposed to a powerful synthetic opioid know as Fentanyl, according to authorities.

HCSO says the deputy was working an undercover investigation when her partner noticed she became ill.

The officer called 911 and the deputy was transported to the hospital.

The condition of the deputy is unknown.
