HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A grand jury has indicted a former and current employee of the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office says former Deputy Cee Carsten was indicted for tampering with a government document and knowingly submitting false information on an offense report.

Current detention officer Donald John-Miller was indicted for the assault of an inmate.

We don't know the specific details of either case yet.

John-Miller is suspended with pay pending the investigation. Carsten was fired last year.
