Harris Co. prosecutors clean up flooded home

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A lot of people might get a little nervous if a dozen lawyers showed up at their house, but in this case, it was a good thing.

Prosecutors in Harris County are cleaning up the home of a co-worker that flooded in Friendswood.

Whitney Rasberry, her boyfriend and her dogs walked for miles in chest deep water to make it to safety.

"To see everybody all the way to supervisors calling to see if I'm okay with an office that big, awesome to see," said Rasberry, a former Marine.

They've collectively tended to cases all week and moved their offices because the criminal courts building is damaged. Rasberry is only one of a lot of DA employees who've gotten these volunteer demo teams.
