Police: Fatal shooting victim found after he was thrown from vehicle in SW Houston

Body of gunshot victim may have been thrown from vehicle in SW Houston
Homicide investigators are trying to piece together how a man whose body was found on Westpark Drive died and why.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The body of a man has been recovered after eyewitnesses say he fell from a moving vehicle in southwest Houston.



Houston police say around 10:15pm, the man either jumped or was pushed from the unknown vehicle on Westpark Drive, between Fondren and Crossview Drive.



The victim, who was between 25 and 30 years old, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.



Investigators say he may have been shot and killed on the overpass.



The Fondren exit on Westpark Tollway has been closed as investigators continue to piece together what happened.



Officers confirm no motorists hit the victim after his body fell onto the roadway.



Detectives have no motive or suspects at this time.
