Texas man shames thief who stole holiday yard decorations
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTRK) -- One man in San Antonio is doing everything he can to catch the thief who stole $400 worth of Christmas decorations.
Ken Lamkin posted photos of the suspect all over his front yard along with the words "thief and Grinch."
The suspect was caught on Lamkin's surveillance video on Christmas Eve.
The video shows the thief take off with a smoke machine and later comes back for the other decorations.
"It reminded me of the movie 'The Grinch,' when the Grinch was going through the town, taking everybody's presents and decorations and stuff like that," Lamkin said.
Lamkin printed out posters and made it part of his Christmas display. He now has six big photos of the alleged thief, "The Grinch" song on repeat and a giant projector screen to play the surveillance video.
"We're going to watch this Grinch, and just sit around and enjoy the night, have some hot drinks and enjoy some good company," Lamkin said.
