GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (KTRK) -- In Green Bay, Wisconsin inmates have spent the past few months creating thousands of hats, scarves and blankets for those in need.
At Green Bay Correctional, 25 inmates use their extra time to make clothing items for newborn babies, kids at area schools and veterans undergoing chemotherapy.
The inmates say that knitting and crocheting is therapeutic for them and gives them a chance to give back.
