Funeral held for Texas State University student Matthew Ellis

KINGWOOD, Texas (KTRK) -- Family and friends remembered 20-year-old Matthew Ellis during a funeral service Saturday in Kingwood.

Ellis was found dead at an off-campus apartment in San Marcos on Monday.

Authorities believe the Phi Kappa Psi pledge had attended a fraternity event the night before his death.
