Etoile Cuisine et Bar - because the French know romance

French is the language of love, so why not check out one of Houston's most-acclaimed French restaurants? Etoile will be offering a three-course dinner on Feb. 13 & 14 ($74 per person) in addition to a three-course brunch on Feb. 14 ($45 per person). Dinner items include "Tartare de Thon Au Yuzu" (tuna tartare with yuzu vinaigrette) and "Duo de Boeuf" (sous-vide tenderloin and braised beef short ribs) while brunch items include Bisque de Homard (Maine lobster bisque) and Risotto de Legume D'Hiver (winter vegetable risotto and truffle oil). Sounds fancy, right?

Diners can also choose from entrees like a Thai-style fried snapper for two and desert of a down south coconut cake with spiced pecans and salted caramel sauce. The $70 per person menu, offered on the 14th, includes three courses as well as a lagniappe.
