Taco pizza is latest food craze in New Jersey
People from other countries are requesting for the taco pizza to be shipped to them.

HOBOKEN, New Jersey (KTRK) -- There's a new food craze sweeping the nation, and it pairs two very popular foods.

Tony Boloney's, a pizza and sub shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, is serving up massive pizzas filled with tacos.

"I like it because it has two of the best things: tacos and pizza combined," Rebecca Appuliese told PIX11.

Michael Hauke, the owner, said he came up with the taco pizza after a request made by kids looking for tacos.

"A bunch of kids came in and they were stoned as hell and were like 'yo dude, make us some tacos,'" Hauke said laughing.

Hauke puts three tacos on each slice, and if you're ever in the area and craving for some taco pizza, get ready to pay for the pricey pie. It's $10 a slice and $80 for a whole pizza.

After news spread about the combination, hundreds of people now head to Tony Boloney's every Taco Tuesday -- and it's not just locals. It's become so popular that people from other countries are asking for it to be shipped to them.
