It's a celebration! Walmart to give away 40,000 cupcakes across Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's your birthday, now let's celebrate -- at least that's the idea at Walmart Supercenter stores across the nation. The retail giant is giving away 3 million cupcakes on Sunday.

Across the city of Houston, Walmart expects to give away 40,000 cupcakes. You can pick up your free cupcake from noon to 4 p.m.

The reason for the celebration? In honor of birthdays everywhere.
