Hosting Christmas dinner? Wow your guests with these catering options
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Are you making Christmas dinner but feeling overwhelmed? Some of your favorite Houston restaurants are offering take out to help.
Longtime Houston favorite Treebeards is offering its signature sweet treats and side dishes for pick-up throughout the holiday season. Patrons can order whole pies and cakes including Treebeards' Carrot Cake, Italian Cream Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie. Side offerings include Jambalaya and Shrimp Étouffée, in addition to seasonal specialties like Corn Pudding, Cornbread Dressing and Squash Casserole.
Let Luby's do the cooking if you are trying to feed a crowd. You can build your own Christmas dinner, with meats, sides, and pies. Holiday meat selections will serve 10-12 people and include whole roasted turkeys for $49.98, fried turkeys for $59.99, and Prime Rib for $75. Sides including macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans, are sold by the quart for $8.99. You can add a pie to any to-go feast for just $12.
Killen's Barbecue
Pick up your favorite BBQ Staples, including whole briskets, and half and full pans of sides and desserts. Killen's stuffs housemade masa with a Snake River Farms chopped brisket mixture, made fresh Wednesday and sold until supplies run out each week through the holidays. They sell for $20 per dozen.

Sides and desserts are available for pickup, including Creamed Corn, Au Gratin Potatoes, Mac 'n' Cheese, Broccoli Cheese Risotto, Creme Brulée Bread Pudding, and Carrot Cake.

B&B Butchers offers a variety of festive options, available for takeout with 24-hour notice. Take out options include Pork Crown Roast, Beef Wellington, Roasted Prime Rib, Glazed Ham, Truffled Mac and Cheese, and creamed spinach.
In addition to offering holiday-themed macarons, cupcakes, and cookies, Petite Sweets also has a treat perfect for Santa - frozen ready-to-bake cookie dough! The cookies go from freezer to oven, and bake in just 18 minutes.
Enjoy a seasonal mesquite-smoked 10-pound turkey from Goode Co. for $75. Goode Co. also offers a variety of smoked meats including mesquite-smoked brisket, slow-smoked BBQ ribs and sausage samplers. Goode Co's classic Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie is always a winner during the holidays with its gooey, rich flavor and fresh Texas pecans. Drive-through pie booths will be open at all Goode Co. BBQ locations the two days before Christmas from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
