Game day food: Houston's best deals on wings
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We called around and checked online for some of the best deals on wings and other things you might enjoy. As always please check your location for participating details.
Over at Buffalo Wild Wings , you can get 65-cent wings on Tuesdays and on Thursdays, it's 50-cent boneless wings. Get in on that deal tonight!
At BreWingZ, there are over a dozen locations in the Houston area! There's also a daily special every day except Saturday that offers some great deals. Tonight it's 20 boneless wings for $12.99.
On Wednesday, it's kids eat free plus two-for-one boneless wings! Also, if you sign up for their WingZ Club, they'll send you special offers and discounts.
Plucker's has one location off Shepherd. Tonight it's Tijuana Thursday, featuring special prices on margaritas and beer. Can't make it tonight? On Friday, teachers score free appetizers during happy hour, kids 10 and under eat free on Tuesdays and it's all you can eat Wings on Monday for $19.
If you're on the southeast side, check out Bayou City Wings. They've got a spot in Houston, Baytown and Pasadena with specials every day, including 40-cent wings on Saturdays. But tonight's deal is double the wings for orders of 6, 12 or 18-piece meals! Join their fan club and get more free food sent your way.
If you'd rather pick up wings from the grocery store for your game day party, Krogers has 40 bone-in breaded wings for $39.99. Over at HEB, wings are sold at $5.98 a pound. At Walmart's deli, a large wing tray is $38 for eight pounds of wings.
