Chick-fil-A outages in Houston have been resolved, company says

You can now go back to paying for your meal via the app. The company announced the outages at these two Houston locations have been resolved.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two Houston-area Chick-fil-A restaurants are now operating normally after the company reported outages that impacted service and payments Friday.

"The outage impacting Chick-fil-A restaurants lasted for about an hour today and is now resolved. Restaurants are processing payments like normal," said a representative for the company.

The issue was reportedly nationwide.

During the outage, staff was unable process mobile transactions through the Chick-fil-A app, according to a statement. They were only accepting cash payments for orders.

Here were the following locations that were affected:

  • Chick-fil-A Sawyer Heights located at 2222 Shearn St.
  • Chick-fil-A Houston Center located at 1200 McKinney St. Suite 363
  • Chick-fil-A located at 5377 Dallas Pkwy. Frisco, TX
