SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Two firefighters are hurt and a dog was rescued after a house fire in Spring.

A fire engulfed the home in the 2500 block of Anzalone at Grand Rapids.

Eyewitness News is hearing the Spring firefighters' injuries -- both to the leg -- are apparently minor. They're being sent to Houston Northwest Medical Center for treatment.

The homeowner, who was at the house when the fire broke out, said he got out with the dog, but the animal ran back in and had to be rescued by firefighters who resuscitated him with oxygen. The dog is expected to be OK.

No other injuries are reported.
