Winning $2 million Powerball ticket sold in southeast Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Someone in southeast Houston just struck it rich.

The Texas Lottery confirms a winning $2 million Powerball ticket was sold at a Shell gas station in the 6900 block of Griggs Road.

The winning ticket would have hit 5 out of 5 numbers plus the power play option.

Last night's winning numbers were 44-45-47-50-51 with a Powerball of 8.
