Stretch Your Dollar
Patricia Lopez gives you advice this to Stretch That Dollar this Spring.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Is your supply of contact lenses dwindling? Do you need them but don't want to pay big bucks.

The key here is to shop around. We checked out a private doctor's office, a warehouse store and an online retailer.

The cost at the doctor's office for a year supply of Bausch and Lomb "Bio True" one day lenses was $560 plus a $130 mail in rebate.

At 1-800 contacts.com, a year supply costs just over $500 and that includes an $80 rebate.

At Costco's optical department, the price was $467 for a year supply plus two rebates that total $130 bucks

Total price for a year supply with rebates at Costco $337.

Keep in mind, at Costco you do need to pay for annual membership. The price is $50 a year.
