Family feud leads to triple shooting in Katy
Three people are recovering after they were shot during an altercation at an in-laws house in west Harris County.

KATY, TX -- Deputies say a family feud led to a shooting in Katy overnight that left three people in the hospital.

Officers responded to a call around 7:30pm Tuesday about a shooting on Mt. Everest Way.

Investigators say three people came to the home of their in-laws and got into an altercation. That is when the homeowner pulled out a gun and began firing at the three males, deputies say.

Units arrived and found one adult male with gunshot wounds. He was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is expected to survive.

Two teenage victims arrived at a nearby hospital a short time later, both with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

It is not known what charged may be filed. The case remains under investigation.
